Cyril’s Soap Shed
When the goats in Catherine’s smallholding started kidding, they produced more milk than the kids, butter, cheese, yoghurt and ice-cream could handle, so Catherine came up with the idea of making soap – waste not, want not!
Their soaps are still handmade in her grandfather Cyril’s old shed but sold all over the UK, including in National Trust shops. Each soap takes up to 4 weeks to make.
